I use mfw for a 4th grader who loves science..we are using apologia and it is great but in elementary school it kind of stays on one topic for a year but is very in depth so my son loves it but I am kind of bored with it. Next year we are thinking of using Real Science 4 kids it is an amazingly impressive science program great for a kid who loves science. Both of these are in depth which is what a science lover craves.
