I am tutoring a high school student in math. She has finished Saxon Algebra II and is a bright kid.

Saxon Adv. Math vs Lial Pre-Calc. Opinions please! August 15, 2007 at 3:36 pm PST
All my kids (now graduated used Saxon 5/6 through Adv. Math.
I have only recently heard of Lial and have looked at the publishers web-site.
Any comparisons between Saxon Advanced Math book and the Lial Pre-calculus books? Anyone used the DVT's and have info / opinions on them?
