My comment is a bit off focus for your question, but I am new to homeschooling. I have been considering using sonlight curriculum with my 6 year old daughter (1st grade). I see that you are changing curriculum. Would you mind sharing any problems that you had with the previous curriculum or reasons why SOTW is better. I've never heard of the SOTW curriculum, but if it is an improvement on Sonlight, I'm impressed.
