I purchased MUS Beta in April for my DD. She has been struggling with math all year. She loves MUS. It's not very colorful, like no colors at all. But that is not what I am not looking to teach my 8 years old colors. SHe knows those already. She struggled with regrouping (carrying, borrowing), but with MUS she got it the first time. She doesn't watch the DVD. I watch it to see how they teach it and then I teach her. MUS is quite expensive, but I puchased it used and paid only half. I have her copy the problems and write the answers on a seperate sheet of paper, that way I can use the book for my other three children. We love it, I have already purchased the Gamma level.
