I know what you mean by drooling. I did the same. My (13-year-old) daughter and I have done the program for 2 years now. I looooovvvve it. She's not so crazy about it. You are right - it fares much better in a group setting, so if you could find a small group to implement it with you, you would be much better off. It can also be very time consuming, so unless you are prepared to not do the program line by line (i.e: to cut parts out) it could take over your life.
