This is a fantastic unit. It encompasses all areas of theology, literature and history. Plus it uses logical thinking at its core. My daughter started on it in the 9th grade, fresh out of public school and really struggled with the lengthy readings and the hard questions and discussions. But after a formal logic course, and over a years worth of effort, she can dissect and discuss literature or theology with anyone, way beyond her peers.

The only drawback I have found is the price of all the books. That can be offset with using library books or an online source. But if you have other kids who will use it, it's worth the investment. And quite frankly, my husband read a lot of the books...for fun!
