also, we typically visit a museum (we live near a major city) or zoo every week too, so it is a nice balance for a young child. this month we planted sunflower seeds, now growing on kitchen counter. next month we are doing butterflies (can't wait to see them pop out of cocoon). i plan to do more wild goose science with him this coming year. my older son loved wild goose stuff.
