I've been using Sonlight Curriculum since my now-5th-grader was 3 1/2. We have loved, loved, loved, loved (did I say LOVED?) it! :) As a whole package, it is well worth the expense, especially when you'll be using it for more than one child. I recommend their Core programs especially. Some people really like their Language Arts, others don't; a few dislike their science (though we have used every year but one and have really liked it). But I know of very, very few people who have used the core program and disliked it.

I am beginning my second time through the SL cores as my younger dd reaches school age, and we are enjoying rediscovering the old favorites again. My older dd even insists on being part of little sister's reading time, because so many of them are her favorites too.

Be sure to check out Sonlight's online forums as well; they are tremendously helpful, including the free ones you can reach at the beginning to ask questions about what to buy.
