Lori, keeping the records is not difficult. Diana Johnson's book, "Home Designed High School" gives very clear instructions in working with grades, records, transcripts, GPA, etc. and she tells you how to do it using either textbook based curriculum, literature based or project based. Also there are a number of options for having others do it. There are a number of online schools such as Eagle Christian, there are correspondence schools such as the American School, there are various schools who will either design your program and keep your records or will let you and your child design your own program and they will keep the records. Look at homeschoolreviews.com under the high school category. The options are almost limitless which makes it hard to decide. Your child may have very definite ideas and at the high school stage I take them very seriously. Let him/her share the decision making.
