For what it is worth, we love A beka. If this is your first year home schoolingl, you will find the lesson plans they sell a life-saver! This saves me so much time! I tried other curriculum previously and A beka's teachers editions are very detailed in that they say things like: "tell the student.....". Then say: "......". I mean, they are very specific so that you do not have to come up with the material or the wording to teach the material!
