28 days. But when they were on the gauntlet they were miles away from their base camp. When they didn't sleep in their shelter they slept under a canopy of stars. The boys earned chits to purchase items to make their camping experience more comfortable. One of the things they could purchase was a sleeping bag. None of the boys bought a bag they opted to sleep on the bare ground using their backpack as their pillow. He did enjoy the experience and would like to go back as a youth counselor someday. I hope that he does. It is good to have him back.
