Do you have a Whole Foods or Central Market near you?

You can buy grain by the pound there. I think hard red wheat goes about 99cents a pound at Central Market.

Also, see if you can find a food coop near you.

ozark cooperative is one that I have used.

At the Beckers store I can get a 42# bucket (6 gallon size bucket) for around $25. Thru the ozark coop I could get a 50# bag for about $15.

The blades... I have no idea! LOL

You could email or call the Bread Beckers and ask them. I'm sure they could anser that. They are very helpful. (and I know them personally....cool family!)

I'll get out my recipe and type it out for you in a few minutes.
