We have waited 15 years to finally move to NC. Now, we have sold our home and we are packing. We have found the home of our dreams only to realize that work is not as plentiful as we had hoped. My husband is very experienced and qualified and has sent many resumes to various jobs, but has not yet been hired. We are still living in our old house and driving the many miles and hours down to NC to look for work only to come home disappointed. Question... is it better to buy the house and move down and then look for work? I have a feeling that employers won't consider him because we are telling them that we are going to relocate. Would it make a difference if we were already settled in? I did not know it would be so hard and frustrating to relocate and find work there. We are looking for work in and around New Bern, Morehead City, NewPort, and Wilmington areas. I know that we will have to accept great cuts in pay, but this is so hard. Please email me.Thanks.
