This is how smart he is. I always like to feed dogs in order of seniority and teach the younger ones to wait their turn. So, on night one, as this puppy ran up to gobble up Poochie's food, I said "no" and pushed him back. Poochie is smart too - I said, "Poochie" because I needed his help. He growled so the puppy moved back. Poochie got his bowl. Goldie got hers. And, then new puppy, later named Serius (guess), got his bowl. On Night Number Two, Serius was standing in the same spot where his bowl had been the night before and waited. Night Two! Last night (several weeks later), I went out to feed them and only two were there: Poochie and Serius. Goldie was nowhere to be found. So, I filled bowl number one for Poochie and gave bowl number two to Serius. He backed away from it! I had to fill his Third Bowl before he would eat it. Is that smart or what? OCD? M.
