I gave up when I realized it wasn't worth *my* sanity. My rule is that I have to be able to shut the door. He brings all linens out to wash and puts them away. He goes through streaks where his room is clean, so-so and completely trashed. I have bigger fish to fry (working, college, hsling, single parenting, life in general).

I realize not all moms can do what I do in this area. I learned this technique from my mom. It saved her sanity too. Now all of us girls can keep a clean bedroom...the rest of the house is up for debate. *lol*
