Have you or your children had your wisdom teeth out? If so, were you awake or put to sleep? I had mine out when I was between the ages of 16-17. I was AWAKE. It wasn't a pleasant experience. My daughter is only 13 and is having hers out. She got all of her teeth early. The dentist that will perform the procedure said that he would have said, "no,wait" if he were just judging by her age but she has the wisdom teeth of a 17-year-old. She will be put to sleep, thankfully. He said that it will only take an hour or so. Things sure have changed since mine came out. M.
