Find a non profit agency near your home. We went to familly Christian connections in modesto, ca. The fee $2000. Start anywhere you can get in the door, gather info--your county is another great place to look for adoptable children. Keep in mind that you will fos-dopt You foster a child then they request parental rights be severed. It is done this way to ensure that children aren't orphaned--and get lost in the system.
