I have adopted two other children, had one birth child, and am now looking at adopting again. I never knew, the first time, that I could have nursed my youngest son; my older son was 18 months when he came, but my younger son was 1 day old. Now that I am going through this again, I am looking for information and understanding. I would like to know how I can do this and how well it works, if you do not get a child- as a newborn. Can they adjust to breast feeding when they have been started on a bottle?? Is there an age or anything that needs to happen. Please help me with what ever information that you may have. This is my first day/time I have ever been to this site; so I am not sure how I will hear back from anyone. This is something so new to me; I nursed my daughter (birth) for 3 1/2 years and it was most enjoyable- the bonding, we are still very close. Please reach out to me and help me see how this can work. Please feel free to e mail me at my personal account, if you have something constructive to share. Thank you!! Blessings, Melanie Lee
