Hi. My husband Cliff and I adopted two kids (boy now 10 and girl now 11) almost three years ago from Kazakhstan. They were given up at birth and lived meagerly in an orphanage. They knew no English and we no Russian or Kazakh to speak of. We're doing great! No major issues except trying to help them academically. Our school system is very limited on ESL and were just got them on IEPs. They are in 2 and 3 grade but cannot keep up. We are exploring home schooling and are searching out a lot of options. I am interested in your catalog...for one thing I have not found much written about adopting older kids from a foreign country. Also I am interested in any advice on helping kids along who had such limited early life experiences. Please send catalog to Diane Heaton / 19 Horseshoe Circle/ Ware, Mass 01082. Thank you very much!
