We are in the middle of our second adoption. This one is from the US through the county foster program. He is a wonderful little guy and we have had him since he was 3 days old. The first attempt to do this ended in disaster and our son was sent to live with him bio mom. Please don't go off on me for that statement. It was not a good judgement call and one I pray doesn't come back to haunt us all, especially him. He has bio parents that are totally messed up.

Our first adoption however was from Africa. We were missionaries there and fell in love with the African people and knew when this baby girl was given to us that she was suppose to be ours.

I say all this to let you know that there are different times in our lives when one place to adopt from may be just better than another.
