We LOVE broccoli, my teenaged daughter has come up with a way to make garlic broccoli using a whole head of garlic. She cuts the broccoli up small, adds the garlic all chopped up tiny and sautees with a small amount of water and seasonings, we are addicted to this also, doesn't make us smell good, but who cares?!
