I must say, 16 days into a reversal diet I feel great. I do wonder though. I try and get greens and fruit into my diet every day, but I'm inclined more to beans and grains. I hope that won't slow my reversal.
I can say that fat wise, I've never even exceeded 15 grams in a single day, and I'm a big guy: 6 foot 3 plus, and right now just under 240. I'm losing weight, but at a very very slow pace, which is okay, and in fact I well understand its healthier that way.
Anyway, the greens thing is a concern. I found out I hate swiss chard...well...I don't like it much.
I wish I had an ornish or esselstyn support group to go to, but I'm in Cleveland, and I'm going to move to Florida in a few months, so I'm not sure if I should even start anything here or not.
Man it is nice though to go to bed and know that i've been good to my body, and that my chances for heart disease are going down daily instead of up.
I'm so deeply in debt to the people like you Doctor and others who have provided leadership in this area. I'd be dead already if not for that.
