Also Salt is a commercial salt substitute containing potassium chloride, L-lysine mono-hydrochloride, calcium stearate. It has no significant sodium.
Recent research has revealed that only a small percent (about one in 14 people) are hypertensively salt-sensitive, and that most people need about a gram of sodium a day to maintain optimum health.
While it's true than most Americans consume way too much sodium, that's mostly because prepared and canned foods and most restaurant meals are very high in salt.
