I would like to know how to reduce crave for other kinds of food, after meals, to get the sensation of full stomach. Despite of this “problem” all the rest (after I became 100 % vegan) is going ok. All is ok toward a reversion of CAD: weight is stable, cholesterol down, triglycerides down and HDL higher. My “problem” now is that even after eating 1 pound of vegetables, rice and black beans at lunch and about 1 pound of the same at dinner, having always fruits for desert (about 4 to 6 apples, bananas or oranges) I feel a need to eat a lot of bread, fruits and green tea between meals. I have to remark that my weight despite of all that food remains OK (175 pounds for a heigh of 5´9"), but I think that a lot of green tea, bread and fruits between meals may not be OK, in part due to carbohydrates in excess. I have to mention that I feel kind of addicted to Vegan food, wanting always more of it... I feel that my body "awaked" after I began Vegan diet and exercises (30 minutes a day of briskly walking)... I feel energised, but also hungry... My question: is this behavior ok, considering so much bread and fruits between meals, due to carbohydrates? Should I modify it? If yes, how to do it? Is this a "normal" vice of Vegan food? Should I try other kind of vegan foods that could give me a sensation of full stomach? What kind of food? Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
