Subject:         The Wellness Forum's Fall Conference

The Wellness Forum's Annual Fall Conference will consist of three days of guest speakers and workshops. This year's conference features special guest Jonathon Balcombe, author of The Pleasurable Kingdom. Dr. Jonathan Balcombe was born in England, raised in New Zealand and Canada, and has lived in the United States since 1987. A biologist, Jonathan studied at York University (Toronto) and Carleton University (Ottawa) before obtaining his doctorate in animal behavior from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville). He has written many scientific papers and lay articles on animal behavior, humane education, and animal research. Jonathan is currently an animal behavior Research Scientist for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine in Washington, D.C. Other special guests include Michael Ruggio of the American Association for Health Freedom, Dr. Chuck Powley, a chemist with DuPont, Amy Kalafa and Susan Rubin, M.D. (Two Angry Moms), and Terri Smith and Debbie Nickoloff of Veggie U.

The conference begins Friday at 1:00PM and ends Sunday at 1:00PM. The Cost is $75 per person for the entire conference; optional Saturday night vegan dessert and wine buffet $15.
