I currently cannot afford a hybrid car or a diesel (to convert to bio-diesel). Even if I could afford a diesel, I don't live in a place that sells bio-diesel and don't have the where-with-all to make a conversion unit.
Anyway, I am looking for a "greener" solution. I know ExxonMobil corp. has a pretty bad environmental policy, so I would like to know which companies are better environmentally and also which companies get their oil from non-Arab countries. I know some companies get all or most of their oil from South American companies and I would prefer to support those.
If there is a website that lists this information, that would be great. Any help is appreciated.
