No, I don't want to "increase the amount of plants grown," I want to decrease it. Most of the crops grown in this country are eaten by animals (cows, pigs, and chickens). If we feed crops to humans instead of wasting them on animals, the amount of farmland needed in this country would decrease, not increase.
You say that "the right way to do it is to raise animals and plants together." That's true, but not in the sense that you intended. The right way to do it is to raise plants to feed human animals, and avoid the grossly inefficient and wasteful practice of feeding crops to domesticated animals.
Both here and elsewhere you have been spewing out your ill-informed opinions while refusing to accept well-justified arguments presented by others. If you're going to post on this board, you need to read two books first: Diet for a New America and The Food Revolution, both by John Robbins. Both contain extensive references documenting the arguments I have presented here. Please don't embarass yourself by continuing to present your prejudices as "facts" -- do some reading first. Ignorance is understandable, but there is no excuse for deliberate, willful ignorance.
