Great article! Well done Walter! I applaud your efforts to regain health and be a model for all of us to follow. Thanks.

Loved the recipe... It looks yummy... Unfortunately, it seems rather high in fat due to the 2 cups of walnuts... I plugged the nutritional information into my recipe builder and calculated that the calories from fat are 43%... I'm trying to maintain a vegan diet in the 10% range... I'm confused as to how this can be a healthy recipe with such high fat content... Dr. Lederman - Please help!!!

I really enjoyed your post Walter, a fantastic job to go 7 days! I interned at True North Health Center, a water fasting facility in Santa Rosa, CA., last summer with Dr's Goldhamer, Klaper, and Sultana and learned so much about the process of water fasting. It impressed upon me the innate wisdom, and the incredible healing power of the body when we "do no harm" and allow it rest and repair. I have begun a water fast today :)
Thanks for the inspiration!
Connie
You're welcome, Connie. Good luck with your fast. Best regards, Walter

Glad you were inspired to fast & that it went so well. Truly a healing mechananism. People should take care not to fast more than 3 days w/o supervision, especially if they have health issues.
And yes, the grain waste on a meat-centered diet is obscene.
Thanks for inspiring people, Walter.
