I haven't had the opportunity to read the book yet of Kim&Rory-maybe they have helped a lot of people but I have to say personally I don't think they had to have a "catchy" title such as the title they have to get people to read the book(maybe they could've thought of another "catchy" phrase&think of something else to call themselves, like chick, lady, woman etc).I personally TAKE OFFENSE to being called a B---- (&I'm not one),&it's not a proper title or name. I'm a Christian& don't see why people think everyone likes cursing or does cursing, which I consider the word B---- to be.I'm even embarrassed to purchase the book,or request from my library(if they have it)to read because of the title.I guess it's a little late now, they can't change the title but thought I should make my opinion known&stand up for what's right.
Dear graphside,I'm sorry but I still don't find the word b---- humorous or hilarious!I don't like curse/swear words & don't use them myself. There may be people that find them funny but I don't have or care for that type of humor. How do you know that the title was meant to be funny?I don't see any indication that is was meant to be humourous&even if it was like I said I don't find it humorous&still say they could've found some other "catchy" phrase that didn't include cursing& I don't see why they want to call themselves that, unless they feel like they are that(you know the word). If the book is filled with that type of words I don't want to read the book-maybe you can suggest some other book that has the information about the diet/lifestyle referred to that doesn't have that type of language. And just for your information the correct wording of your statement at the end is:Do unto others AS you would have them do unto you,not do unto others AND you would have them do unto you.I have a friend that is a vegan&she referred me to this site, for the information about eating a heathly diet&losing weight,to see the video of the woman who lost weight(Lisa Tabari)not so I can see a bunch of curse words.May you be in&continue in good health.

I was also thrilled to find "Skinny Bitch, Bun in the Oven" it was perfectly timed to support my good friend's pregnancy. The book was a great tool to help her with so many usually intelligent people's comments about mothers needing so much protein. I have found "..Bun in the Oven" to be even more insightful and well researched than the first "Skinny Bitch." Keep up the good work Kim and Rory, it is much appreciated! Also thanks for your comments DeDe!
So glad you enjoyed bun in the oven! There are so many misconceptions out there about pregnancy, about how much protein we need and where to get the protein. The truth is, we not only eat TOO much protein in USA, but we eat the kind of protein from animals which comes with heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, auto immune diseases, etc. So go with what Rory and Kim say.plant based protein...a great source without the baggage!
I love this book!!! It cracks me up but makes me realize how crappy the food of today is. I am going on a week of being a vegetarian and i feel great. I didnt realize how bad animal meat was and how gross it actually is. If everyone read this book there would be a lot more animals saved and maybe our government would get the message that what they are doing isnt right.
Hi, if you really want to feel great, buy Skinny Bitch in the Kitch!
I am not saying you will turn into raving beauties like Rory and Kim, but you will have a healthier body weight and feel great! And, since you will not be eating dairy or eggs, you will no longer be hurting the animals. Did you know that dairy cows are raped over and over again, while pregnant, to keep the milk overproducing for humans to use? And then, after 4 horrible years of confinement and torture, crying for their babies who were taken from them within miniutes of their birth, they are taken to the slaughterhouse to become your hamburger!
