Description:

Hi. My name is Miranda Nelson, and I am a lifelong vegan. I love being vegan because it is helpful to the environment, the suffering animals, and my health. People always ask me, "Is it hard to be vegan?" And I say, "NO WAY! It's so easy!" There are so many different types of rices, whole grain breads and cereals, beans, vegetables, and fruits. How could I not find something to eat?! I usually eat at home because it's less expensive, and I love the food I eat! I don't see how any other food could taste as good as the food I eat. I love whole wheat pasta with no salt added marinara sauce and vegetables. I always like to add a little bit of soy sauce and raw garlic spread. When my friends come over to my house, they always say, "WOW! This food is so good!" A lot of people don't give vegan food a chance. They just think, "EW, vegetables!" But eating vegan food not-only tastes amazing, it also makes you feel great! I dance around 3 to 4 hours a day, so I need to have substantial energy. I truly don't think I could be as active as I am if I didn't eat a plant-based diet. If any of you out there have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

GO VEGANS!

That is great that you became vegan! How is it working out for you? If you even need any recipes, feel free to ask. :)

I am glad you like my post. I don't think it is fair to call meat eaters "greedy." One should never try to put down or blame anyone. Ultimately, it just makes people upset, and they will never even consider being vegan. Some people don't have the information or the support to become vegan. Not everybody knows how cruelly farm animals are treated, or they don't know the health benefits of a plant-based diet. If we vegans try to force our beliefs on others or put them down, we will never get our message across.
