I agree, I don't think Bill was trying to be insulting. Dr. Campbell, very unfortunately, isn't a very good interviewee. He doesn't seem to follow what the interviewer is trying to get out of him. He also (frustratingly) could be much better at elaborating and giving out information. Dr. McDougall or Dr. Fuhrman or Michael Pollan are much better at these short interviews.
As much as I am a fan of Dr. Campbell's work, if I had to choose a spokesperson for veg awareness to go on these shows, it would not be him.

Bill Maher is a long-time vegetarian. I thought Dr. Campbell gave a horrendous interview. He seemed out of it. He didn't understand some of the questions. I was embarrassed watching him.
How old are you? (Just curious.) I'm guessing you're closer to 20 than you are to 60, right?

This was the worst thing I have ever seen. It was actually painful to watch. Dr. Campbell was like an old man that didn't know where he was. He didn't understand even the most basic questions and couldn't even explain the title of the movie, his reason for being there! It was like watching someone you once knew fall victim to severe Alzheimer's Disease. Campbell was clueless and embarrassed himself. He should have deferred this interview to Joel Fuhrman or someone that can talk at the celebrity level. I felt so bad for him...I was crouching in the corner. What a train wreck...poor guy...RETIRE!!!
Are you nuts? Rewatch it...and then picture say, Dr. Joel Fuhrman sitting there with Bill...he had an opportunity to really say something 20 million or more people would have heard and he sat there like he had just had a seziure. He needs to retire and the Docs take it from here.
