Tim, I agree with you completely. I've always loved Perrier and selzter so I stick to that now. Also worth mentioning in the ONE week that I stopped drinking soda, my fasting blood sugar went from 132 to 86! I have changed nothing else in my diet but this. 86 is normal where as 132 is very high.
I thought I was being a good girl by only having 5 cans of pop a week. Wrong! I haven't had in pop since I read the article!
damn, what can I enjoy now? I rarely drink any alcohol. Never smoked. Don't use drugs. I'm vegan...indulging in soda will give me cancer??
I'm sorry, I eat a diet consisting of plant based whole foods..I think I can have a few sodas each week :-)
Were these studies done with people eating white rice and pasta? I want to know more
I've been cutting about 1/4-1/2 cup of orange juice into seltzer and then adding lemon and lime. It's not the same but I'm getting used to it and I'm ok with no soda.
