I would have shared this if it wasn't for; "Also, Pelsser warns, altering your child's diet without a doctor's supervision is inadvisable." which is BS in my opinion. I probably wouldn't be vegan if such choices depended on what my doctor had to say about the matter. Even certain nutritionists seem badly informed at times. Food is a -personal- responsibility, and that includes what you feed your children as well.

I totally agree with your comment, especially about the ignorance displayed by many registered dietitians and doctors. We have to educate them, rather than them educating us. That is pathetic.
