That really sucks! I have talked to so many people, professional and non, and every answer is different and leaving me to wonder. Which is why now I only eat soy products like smart dogs and veggie burgers moderately because I really don't want to risk getting breast cancer or any cancer at that. Whenever I really feel the need for protein I get it from those kinds of vegan certified products, but ever since the mystery of is it safe or is it dangerous came up, I only eat it when I'm really craving for it. Otherwise I'm terrified not knowing. So I try eating nuts, spoonfuls of peanut butter, whole wheat breads and pastas and certain vegetables. However they're not as filling, and the breads, pastas and nuts aren't exactly the healthiest to eat consistently so I'm trying to figure out how to have a healthy balanced vegan diet without excluding too much protein.
