One word - specieism! I hate it when people get all up in arms about whaling. Sure, these animals are being run to extinction so we should be upset, no doubt, but do these people realise that the tuna they have in their sandwich, salmon they have in their such is also close to extinction due to over fishing? Its just like a European saying "Leave the native African's alone, but I dont care what you do to the Chinese." In my opinion, specieism is a form of racism, and it needs to stop. Insect, bovine, feline - Im repulsed that anybody would serve up any of them on a dinner plate.
