Unbelievable story of FDA corruption - Full Documentary online thru June 20

While I appreciate Dr. Jacobson commenting on this documentary, I wish some of the other vegsource doctors would also chime in with their views and thoughts on this treatment option.

After doing a brief internet search, I came across a comment by Dr. Andrew Weil on Antineoplaston Therapy and Dr. Burzynski. He saw it as having very little benefit and being very expensive.

I have a friend in southern California, who recently had a cancerous brain tumor removed after passing out behind the wheel and waking up in the hospital. His long-term prognosis is not good. I posted something on his "caring bridge" website, directing him to this documentary at Vegsource. Then I found Dr. Weil's comment.

Maybe the comment was old, as it referred a 1985 Canadian study, but I really would like to know what Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall and Dr. Esselstyn think of Dr. Burzynski's Antineoplaston Therapy.

Thank you

Thank you Jeff,

I didn't mean to imply that Dr. Jacobson wasn't as credible on this subject as Dr. McDougall or Dr. Fuhrman, but only that it would be nice to have a consensus on this treatment option from all, or most of the vegsource doctors.

I don't hold Dr. Weil in particularly high esteem, especially after his endorsement of Gary Taubes. But he does have a recognized name in the alternative medicine field, and I advised my friend to research Antineoplaston Therapy on his own. Now I suspect he will find the same comment that I did, and be discouraged from looking into it any further.

I only saw the first thirty minutes of the movie, because it stopped playing at that point and I was unable to get it to continue. But if it's available at the Whole Foods in Toronto, I'll purchase a copy there.

Thank you Dr. Jacobson,

I'll make sure he is aware of those links.
