I recently started exploring a vegan diet and now I am reaching a little further into a vegan lifestyle. I don't personally know any other vegans so I hope you don't mind me posting a question.
Are you familiar with http://www.melaleuca.com/ ? I know all of their food products are not vegan (they contain milk and eggs) however, are their body and house products vegan/environmentally friend?
If you know of another product line, like a one stop shop for vegan/environmentally friendly products, I am all ears!
If there is another venue more appropriate for these questions please direct me. Thank you!

Jeff is a brilliant educator...and very entertaining, too! :-)
Olive Oil, monounsaturated, has polyphenyls in it which are good for clearing out heart arteries. So we use 1 teaspoon on our salad along with a tablespoon of vinegar, your choice. This video is seriously overdosing on oil to make an exagerated point.
Do note that Dr. Joel Fuhrman has some patients who lose too much weight on a vegan diet so he adds a measured amount of fat.
Another good choice for fats is whole almonds. No, we don't eat them by the cupful! How about a dozen almonds per day. Lots of studies show health benefits of nuts like almonds, given no allergy sensitivity.
Polyunsaturated fats according to health news in BBC can lead to increase in colon cancer. I don't have the reference at my fingertips. So we use 2 grams of distilled (gets rid of mercury etc) fish oil a day. That's less than the 2 tablespoons implied in this exaggerated video.
I don't think the presentation has to go way overboard to make a good point.
It would be great to have a written article communicating a little substance about the ideas in the book to replace the video clip which does not play. I live in New Zealand and for several reasons do not purchase DVDs from overseas. Still, I am most interested in what Jeff has to say. Thank you.
