She remained in Little Rock for her Ob/Gyn internship and residency at UAMS. Prior to graduation in 2010 she was recognized for Outstanding Achievement as the Chief Resident in Gynecologic Oncology.
Her speaking engagements range from the Arkansas ACOG Convention to the Baptist Health Perinatal Conference, including lectures on VBAC, Preeclampsia, Diabetes in Pregnancy, and Obstetric Hemorrhage. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds membership as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Her practice interests range from adolescent to post-menopausal women's health care. During the reproductive years, her obstetric focus includes counseling women seeking natural childbirth, including the option for natural cesarean delivery, prenatal care in collaboration with a doula, and supervision of vegetarian and vegan diets in pregnancy. She is a certified Food For Life instructor and has served in Arkansas to represent the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
She currently serves on the board of the Arkansas House of Prayer and is a former board member of the Arkansas Ovarian Cancer Coalition. She was recognized by Little Rock Soiree' Magazine's Women to Watch in 2011 and has recently gained certification in prenatal yoga.
