Lara Bars are a great snack.  Many are made from just fruit and nuts.  But did you know you can make your own in minutes for a fraction of the cost?  Some of the newer Lara Bar flavors have sugar, salt and even coconut oil.  These little gems have just 4 ingredients, peanuts, cherries dates and vanilla.  It tastes like a PB & J sandwhich but without the bread (or gluten).  Enjoy!

Great and thanks for the Trader Joe cherry tip! I'm a fanatical home cook that will use NO oils and have now started using Baking Stevia for some baked items. It's a different taste but is definitely sweet and just a little goes a very long way. For my Brownies I find the dark choc. chips (vegan of course) add enough sugar along with a little Stevia for a sweet treat. And apple sauce provides the "oil" for the recipe. Keep the good recipes coming!
