I think if one starts out early in life eating nuts and seeds, along with other plant foods, and does not smoke, gets plenty of exercise, and maintains a healthy weight (BMI around 22), the nuts and seeds will not be a problem. On the other hand, if one already has cardiovascular disease, I'm sure too many nuts and seeds will harm their health.
