I think you need to get another opinion. Anxiety and depression can be from many things, but I've never heard of any connection with cholesterol levels. It seems to me that many people in Asia, for example, at least in the past (changing because of modern dietary trends) have had levels in the low 100's and even lower.

I personally had my choleterol taken some years back when I still ate cheese and eggs and it was 120. Now I'm vegan. I used to have anxiety "attacks" periodically where my heart would start pounding and I would feel panicky and weird, I found that each time it was connected to caffeine. So I stopped anything caffeinated and have had much, much less trouble with them. It has probably been a year or more since I had one of them.

I guess that's why I say get another opinion. Do a bunch of research, I'm not so sure you'll find that strong of a correlation if you really look. Personally, I bet my cholesterol is below 100, I'm going to have it checked this month, and I have no more problems with anxiety and have never had a problem with depression.

Just my thoughts.
