i have a field mouse in my house that weve caught aout for times now and it just sits in the house and eats. it normally stays for about a week at a time but now its stayed or about 2 weeks. it stays and a cage with a pet mouse and a hamster. a female teddy bear hamster. i wont set this mouse free because i know it wont leave plus, it had kids in the house and we caught one at about 12:30 am but it acted like its mother when we first caught her. jumping up and down and trying to escape and trying to figure out what the hamster was from the corner of its cage(it was in a different one so it wouldnt get Pecan(its mother) all riled up. it still escaped but its still in the house. ive seen it. whats wierd is when we caught Pecan again she gave up on escaping and her and the hamster got along when the hamster tries to ATTACK the pet mouse.
