Oy, givalt a shotgun! You don't need to take such drastic measures. I love ducks, but not on a dinner plate. I'd just as soon shoot a puppy. Besides, I'm not sure if ducks are kosher.
I live in Southern California where it is warm all the time so I would just stop feeding the ducks, but where you are don't stop feeding them until spring.
