Hi Sarah, So far we have kept her alive, thank God, for over a month. Since writing the first message we have gotten her a much bigger tank---29 gallon. We are trying to find a big goldfish to be her buddy because several employees of pet shops (we hate even walking into them when they sell animals but we don't have much choice) told us that would be best. And we think she might actually be female---one day we saw what looked like little orange eggs on the leaves of a live aquarium plant we added. Do you think those were eggs? We think she must have eaten them because they disappeared right away, and we have never seen them again---might just be missing them. How big are your two? Do they lay eggs and do you have worry about a bunch of babies? Also, do yours ever sort of lay around on the bottom of the tank on the gravel? Is that normal or a sign that something is wrong? And finally, do you ever give your goldfish fresh or cooked veggies? If so, which ones and do you cut them or just plop them in whole? Thanks so much, H&S
