This tends to happen when they have a swim bladder disorder, common solution is to cut back the food you are giving them. If at all possible switching the type of food you are giving them to have more variety helps. Also feeding them the inside of a cooked pea works to help clear them out, as before mentioned. The cause could be constipation or something else.
