a history lesson for you.

bettas were actually first discovered in a muddy water puddle. Thats how nasty the water can be, and they can survive in..though no one nor I would actually recommend trying it ..im sure betas have acquired the sanitary water by now lol.

but, I thought it was fascinating when I was taking my bio class, to learn that in college. That they were wallowing in mud water of a puddle
