Subject:	BETA FISH (hear my story)HELP~!

People ive got to ask you a question but first hear out my story. I have one of those Red Beta Fish. It was in a cup with top and the top had a hole thats 1/2 inch diameter and thing is, I think it jumped out??? I have no idea because when i got home from school there was not really any water spilled. The cup was next to my other tank at the living room and when I got home and looked and found no fish in the cup!!! I looked if someone put it in the bigger tank, but nowhere to be found so i thought maybe my fat goldfish devoured it when someone put it in the big tank?? I didnt think of it much so after about 30 minutes. i was looking at the ground near the tank to find something and saw a redish brownish furry thing so i touched it and it moved!! It was the Beta fish and i dunno how long it was lying there. well ive done all i can to take those fuzzy things off him and cleansed him pretty good and stuff and gave it cleanest water possible but im just asking people.. can beta fish actually jump out!!?? and also WILL MY FISH LIVE!!! its looking the same as any other beta fish just not as lively..hes a surviver but will he LIVE!!!HELP
