Brandy seems to be doing ok. He doesn't really have a "binky" anymore but he does have a favorite stuffed toy.I see that toy is on the rug where Nicki always laid -so must be Brandy laid there while I was at work today. So far, Brandy has the hardest time when it is a time for something like meals and we usually "go get Nicki" first... he goes to get her. Of course, I must say I am at quite a loss at the kitchen counter as I always did nic's pills first. Baby CLyde is a different story. I think I will pick up some rescue remedy for him today. Mind you, I brought Baby home the day his eyes opened and he has always been with me and/or Nicki his whole 2 1/2 years of life. His personality is more like Brandy but he was always with Nicki. And he was the one who would jump out of bed when she coughed to go check on her. Well, he never cared to get out of the yard - now he is escaping. He walks along meowing and rubbing his face (marking). I do think he is looking for her. He was outside in the yard when I was at work and he didn't escape but soon as I got home - he was ready to begin his search.Maybe he is trying to get me to go look for her - who knows. Poor guy, doesn't have a partner anymore. Zoey and SParky seem to be taking advantage of the fact that BC has lost his body guard. I was surprised Tippy curled up with him in the evening yesterday.
