I just emailed you and like I said, I KNOW she came skidding to a stop at the bottom of that bridge and barked at my intrepid Muffin. (she he doesn't HAVE to be Muffin the Intrepid ANY MORE -- because you don't HAVE to be brave there). He looked up into her face and said "Well, Hi Nicki -- and btw, you don't HAVE to bark so loud, girl, COS I CAN HEAR YOU NOW!!!!!!!!!" Then he nuzzled her leg and SHOWED her that there was NO sore there any more. Then they trotted over to that stream and laid down right int he middle of a whole bunch of goldenrod and dandelion blows and he told her "Can't hurt US any more!!" and probably blew some in her face just to tickle her. But then he took her to meet everbuddy else. It's never too cold there, never too much mud, and everything is a game. Then they talked about us, and how hard we tried to help them. And how much they loved us. Nick appreciated that you and your dad BOTH were there. She didn't miss the fact that both of you loved her enough to be there. She's got her own agenda of folks to look up too, I'm sure. But she's happy now, and if she licks it's simply to groom herself and lay her fur down. She's not "driven" to it by discomfort. There is NO discomfort there. None. Not any more. (but there's lots of Chamomille tea there IF she wants it just cos she likes it)
