Hi Ellie,
Thanks for the authors names. I have never owned a dog, but there is neighborhood dog that nobody clains. I think he has been abused because he will not let me come closer than two feet. I feed him and have given him a worm treatment. I bought a fles collar, but I can't get close enough to put it on. I would like to take him to a vet to get his shots. He plays with the toys I gave him. He claims my house as his and will come when I blow a whistle to feed him, but he will not let me too near him. I will get the books and hope I can train him. I think he is a beagle
